I loved the pictures! What a fun idea. I think I will do this for my children and their friends 1 or 2 times this summer!

Now for the review... I make pizza all the time including the dough and sauce. The recipes (though there are few... but you really don't need a ton for pizza! It's kind of all toppings!) look GREAT! I cannot wait to try them for our family. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 was because 1/3 of the book was advertisements for other books or blogs (thank you for putting those at the END, by the way! :)). All in all, thanks for the book!

This is a very nice primer on making homemade pizza. 3 stars isn't an indication of any shortcoming, but rather, an indication that this isn't "Tale of Two Cities." I found some new ideas for toppings, and the sauce recipes worked very nicely. I even use them on pasta now, and they are quite simple. As a cookbook, this isn't a cover to cover read, but I do refer back to it frequently. I particularly like having it on my , along with several other cook books. When I travel, I always have my , but rarely take a traditional cookbook. Quite handy when staying with freinds and family so I can offer to make dinner and always have an intersting recipe on hand.
I also found the table of contents and the family pictures enjoyable.

It is a good basic pizza dough and sauce recipe, as well as some good homemade salad dressings. Nothing too complicated. Who doesnt enjoy pizza? In today's world it is easy to pick up a phone and have it delivered, but seeing the pictures may inspire you to make it yourself.

It is a quick, easy read, not much more to it than that.

I also picked up the book for free, and as I do make my own pizza I did not find anything different or unique in this book. I do appreciate the author sharing their own recipes and not cut and paste from other sites as so many of the kindle cookbooks are done this way.
There is a hyperlinked table of contents and it does interface with the for PC navigation menu.

One of the stars of this book, for me, was the photos of real people making pizzas and enjoying themselves. They were charming. However, I doubt they'd show up quite as well on my e-ink .

The dough, sauce, and dressing recipes are actual recipes using real ingredients. I confess that I expected to see some sort of recommendation for "refrigerated pizza dough" and "jarred sauce" and the like, but no, even the Alfredo sauce recipe is real (and doesn't include cream cheese).

A good chunk of the book is advertising for the author's other works, but it's at the end, which is far better than at the beginning.

Essentially, the book does what it says - it gives information on how to have a pizza party and provides basic information, and the recipes sound lovely. Don't expect a ton of different pizza recipes or anything too exotic here. I obtained it when provided free for the . I can't say that I would have purchased it, but I can say that it was of higher quality than other books containing nothing more than 20 or 50 copied and pasted recipes.
